Like mother, like daughters....

Last night we had some of Duane's extended family over and the kids started taking pictures with my inlaw's camera.  Micah asked if she could take pictures with my good camera but that was not going to happen.  So, I went and got my little point and shoot so both girls were taking pictures at the same time.  Then Duane let them use his Ipod Touch and all 3 kids were taking pictures.  I guess I really shouldn't be surprised for how much they have the camera in their face. 

We just about made it.

I was thrilled that this was going to be the first Christmas since all 3 children have been born that we would have no red noses or no black eyes on any of the kids.  Jael has been famous for having a red nose for Christmas and always had a kleenex in hand.  Isaac has managed to have a black eye and a red eye for 2 of his 5 Christmases.  We made it until after Christmas supper at my inlaws when the inevitable happened.  Isaac and his 5 year old cousin had a run in and this is the result.  This is 2 days after so it is already looking better than it did when it happened.

My very first post

I am going to attempt to take and post a picture a day for the whole year of 2011. I wasn't sure if I should do it and my husband laughed at me and asked if it would really be that hard for me to take a picture every day. I don't think that will be the challenge but making the time to download and edit the photos will. We'll see how it goes. Hope you enjoy!
