We went to the lake today and brought with us Little Red Riding Hood or so she called herself.

224/365

We had the pleasure of looking after my cousin's youngest daughter this afternoon.  The kids loved having a baby in the house and helping look after her.

223/365

The Lite Brites also came out this week.  Here is Micah's mermaid she created all by herself.

222/365

The sidewalk chalk got brought back out this week.  Jael is into designing right now and she designed this dress.

221/365

My little boy loves to create with LEGO!!!

220/365

The apple processing continues.  I made 10 quarts of juice and there's still more apples left to pick.

219/365

My brother-in-law picked up a free Lego set for each of the kids at my nephew's birthday party.  Here's Jael building hers just as the instructions say.

218/365

My hubby and father-in-law picked a bunch of our apples and they are sitting in my kitchen.

217/365

I made jam for the first time today, I really did not realize how easy it was to make.

216/365

I went strawberry picking without the kids this morning and they were so nice and huge!!

215/365

I love how Micah just hops off her bike when she stops.

214/365

The apple tree is full of apples and waiting to be dealt with.

213/365

Came home after a weekend away to a cucumber growing.  I haven't had much luck with growing cucumbers so it was nice to see this.

212/365

We spent the afternoon/evening with my cousin at their cabin and had lots of fun playing in the water.

211/365

We went fishing at a lake up north.  The water was too rough be out on the boat, so the kids cast off the shore.

210/365

On the way to the farm, we stopped to get donuts.  Isaac thoroughly enjoyed his!

209/365

I was shocked that this lily came up.  Last Easter I bought an Easter planter with a lily in it.  My mom suggested planting it in the garden just to see what would happen and it made it through the winter.

208/365

This is another one of my favorite things of summer, fresh raspberries.

207/365

I thought this plant died last spring and it came back to life this summer and we got to enjoy these flowers.

206/365

This was the kids' morning snack today, don't think it could get much better!

205/365

The kids love to help.  They were happy to help get the corn ready for supper.

204/365

We were able to almost finish framing and mudding our current home project.

203/365

I'm more than impressed that I have been able to keep this daisy alive this long.

202/365

I always forget that this plant exists in my yard until it blooms and then I'm pleasantly surprised.

201/365

The girls wanted me to braid their hair.  This doesn't happen very often so I needed to take a picture of it.

200/365

Just another lily, but I love them all.

199/365

Having fresh peas is one of mine and the kids' favorite parts of having a garden!

198/365

I love my little boy's tongue...he concentrates so hard!
